Central Catholic High School of Lawrence, Mass., won the Saint Anselm Shootout 7-on-7 tournament held Sunday at Saint Anselm College.

Central Catholic beat Methuen (Mass.) in the championship game.

The following New Hampshire schools participated in the 23-team event: Bedford, Manchester West, Manchester Memorial, Stevens, Mascoma and  Kearsarge

The rest of the field included Essex (Vt.) and the following Mass. teams: Dracut, Triton Regional, Lynnfield, Swampscott, Winchester, Haverhill, North Middlesex, Melrose, Methuen, Cathedral, Central Catholic, All Day Football, Framingham, North Andover, Ayer and Andover.

Winchester, Central Catholic, Essex, Cathedral, West, Dracut, Methuen and Stevens reached the quarterfinals. Central Catholic, Essex, West and Methuen advanced to the semifinals.
