New Hampshire Football Report will provide daily practice reports leading up to the inaugural New Hampshire East-West All-Star Game, which will benefit Children's Hospital at Dartmouth (CHaD). The game will be played Saturday at the University of New Hampshire's Cowell Stadium (1 p.m.).

EAST NOTES

Can you name the one player on the East roster who doesn't live in New Hampshire? The answer is East linebacker Tom Cifrino, who lives in York, Maine, and attended St. Thomas for each of his four years of high school. "It's interesting because I got the 207 and the rest of the guys have the 603," Cifrino said. "It's a good bunch of kids." Cifrino, who will spend a postgraduate year at Phillips Andover next year, was also selected to play in the Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl in August, but is not eligible to play in Maine's Shrine Lobster Bowl. Cifrino helped St. Thomas defeat Windham in last year's Division V championship game. East coach Bill Raycraft is Windham's head coach. Cifrino said he hasn't brought up the championship game result since the team began practicing. "Coach Raycraft is also the offensive coordinator, so I figure if I want to play on O I better keep my mouth shut." ... Raycraft's father, Joe, will call the East defense Saturday. Joe Raycraft was the football coach and athletic director at Merrimack High School fot nearly 30 years. "He did some scouting for me this year," Bill Raycraft said. "He came out to a couple practices. He still enjoys the coaching. My very first coaching job was when he was the Shrine coach, so this is kind of going in full ciricle."

WEST NOTES

The West had a full roster at practice for the first time Monday."It was the best practice yet," West coach Keith Jones said. "Everybody being there, the execution and the effort. We're having fun." ... Jones said his two quarterbacks, Manchester Memorial's Cody Dalton and Manchester West's Aaron Martin, bring similar skills to the table. "Cody is certainly the more stereotypical QB," Jones said. "He does everything well. Aaron has a little flash to him. They both throw the ball very well." ... Jones said he would do things differently if he had to select his team today. "I think if we could go back we would pick two more linemen for depth purposes," Jones said. "We ended up with a plethora of skill kids. That's really it." ... Like Raycraft, Jones is very familiar with his defensive coordinator, John Margarita. Margarita is on Jones' Milford staff. ... The West is scheduled to practice at Manchester Memorial from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
