Hampton's Cronan receives postseason honor

Hampton resident Ryan Cronan, who recently completed his senior season at Marist College, was a First Team All-Pioneer Football League (PFL) selection for the 2011 season. 

Cronan, on outside linebacker, enjoyed a breakout senior season as he led the Red Foxes in total tackles with 77. He added six tackles for losses, two sacks and two pass break-ups. In addition, his average of seven tackles per game ranked seventh in the PFL.

Cronan, who played at Winnacunnet High School, had a career-high 12 tackles at Dayton on Sept. 17.
