NHFR logo.jpgSanborn's 37-28 triumph over Bow on Saturday has created an interesting -- and controversial -- situation in Division V.

St. Thomas (9-0), Kearsarge (7-2) and Windham (7-2) have all clinched playoff berths, but the No. 4 seed won't be determined until Stevens and Somersworth finish a game that was suspended because of lighting earlier this season.

Somersworth led Stevens 20-18 with 6:12 left in the third quarter when the game was halted. Somersworth (5-3) would secure the No. 4 seed if it defeats Stevens. If Stevens prevails, Bow (5-4) would earn the No. 4 seed. Bow defeated Somersworth 19-7 during the regular season.

"I was told the game must be completed Monday, but it's our home game and I don't think it's fair for us to travel two hours or more to finish it," Stevens coach Paul Silva said. "We can't play on our field [because of snow] but were looking into playing at [Kimball Union Academy] or Hanover.

"We're pretty banged up and our kids don't have a whole lot to play for, but I agreed to finish it out of fairness to Bow. As of right now I can't tell you when or where we're going to play."
