HANOVER -- Harvard announced today that it will play host to the Dartmouth football team at Harvard Stadium this season in the first night football game between the two schools.

The game will be played Oct. 29 at 6 p.m. The contest had originally been scheduled for noon, but was moved after Dartmouth agreed to the switch.

Dartmouth has never played a night game on the gridiron. The latest start of any previous game came during the 2008 season at Columbia when the two teams kicked off at 4 p.m.

Dartmouth will open its 2011 schedule Sept. 17 at Memorial Field in Hanover.
