Hollis-Brookline linebacker/running back Brian Liamos will continue his football career as a linebacker at Massachusetts Maritime Academy, a Division III school in Buzzards Bay, Mass.

Mass. Maritime competes in the New England Football Conference's Bogan Division.

Liamos was a four-year starter for the Cavaliers. He served as a team captain last season, when he ran for 898 yards, scored 12 touchdowns and completed two passes. He also made 91 tackles during his senior season.

Liamos rushed for more than 2,100 yards and made more than 230 tackles during his high school career.

He is a two-time Division III all-state selection at inebacker, and has been selected to represent New Hampshire in this summer's Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl.
