Shane McNeely, a tight end/linebacker from Central Catholic High School in Allentown, Pa., has given a verbal commitment to the University of New Hampshire.

McNeely took an official visit to UNH last weekend. He was named the Lehigh Valley Conference's defensive MVP last season, when he helped the Vikings go 16-0 and win the PIAA Class 3A title.

McNeely was named to Pennsylvania's Big 33 Classic squad. Pennsylvania will play an all-star team from Ohio on June 18 in Hershey, Pa.
