Hollis-Brookline wins middle school title
Hollis-Brookline capped an unbeaten season (10-0) by beating Bow 16-14 Sunday to win the Granite State Football League's Middle School Varsity championship.
Hollis-Brookline scored a two-point conversion on the game's final play.
Hollis-Brookline trailed 14-8 and was on its own 26-yard line with nine seconds to play when quarterback Killian Jeffreys completed a pass to Nick Schutz, who weaved through defenders and scored the game-tying TD with no time on the clock. Jeffreys ran in the two-point-conversion attempt that earned Hollis-Brookline the championship.
