Salem cracks New England's top 10

Salem logo.png Salem High School, which defeated Nashua North in the 2009 Division I championship game, will begin the season ranked eighth in the ESPNBoston.com New England high school football poll.

ESPNBoston staff writers and correspondents from throughout New England will vote in the poll, which will be released each Monday.

New Hampshire Football Report publisher Roger Brown and Manchester Union Leader sportswriter Marc Thaler are the New Hampshire representatives who will vote in the poll.
