Queen City Jamboree will carry extra meaning
The Queen City Jamboree, the state's largest preseason football event, will be played Friday at Gill Stadium in Manchester. The schedule:
Salem vs. Goffstown (4:30 p.m.)
West vs. Souhegan (5:30 p.m.)
Trinity vs. Memorial (6:30 p.m.)
Central vs. Timberlane (7:30 p.m.)
Pinkerton vs. Bishop Guertin (8:30 p.m.)
Parents of Nashua North players will be at the Queen City Jamboree frm 5 to 9 p.m. collecting money for the Cooper Doucette Fund. Doucette is the Nashua North player who was injured during a tackling drill earlier this month.
