New Hampshire leads the all-time series againt Vermont 41-13-2 and extended its winning streak to nine games by posting a 40-6 victory over Vermont last summer. Vermont has failed to score more than seven points in four of the last five games.

This year's contest will be played Aug. 7 (2:30 p.m.) at Windsor (Vt.) High School's MacLeay-Royce Field.

Ken Sciacca, who resigned as Kennett High School's head coach following the 2009 season, will serve as New Hampshire's head coach. Essex High School's Charlie Burnett will guide Vermont.

"The one thing we do have is a stable of running backs," Sciacca said. "We're not going to have a problem finding someone who can run the ball."

Burnett led Essex to an 11-0 record and the Division I championship last season, his second as the program's head coach. Essex used a four-wide set and scored 500 points in 11 games.

Sciaccia said the intra-squad scrimmages that are usually held one week before the game are not part of this year's schedule, although he added that New Hampshire may hold a short scrimmage July 31.

General admission tickets for the game are now on sale at more than 80 outlets throughout New Hampshire and Vermont. General admission tickets are $8 if purchased in advance or $10 on game day.

Reserve seats are $20 and can be purchased by contacting the Shrine Football Office: (603) 448-1042.
