Souhegan High School's Colin Cray and Merrimack High School's Logan Placey have been added to the New Hampshire roster for this summer's Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl, which will be played Aug. 7 at Windsor (Vt.) High School.
Cray was a First Team Division III All-State selection as an offensive lineman following his junior season, and was a First Team All-State selection as a defensive tackle last season. He helped Souhegan win the Division III title in 2008 and 2009.
Placey, an offensive lineman, was a Division II All-State selection in 2009. He was also one of 29 seniors who received the Joe Yukica/New Hampshire Champter of the National Football Foundation and Hall of Fame Scholar-Athlete Award.
"We were looking for balance and felt we needed some more linemen," New Hampshire coach Ken Sciacca said. "We're not sure exactly where they'll play. We just know they're football players."
Practice for both New Hampshire and Vermont will begin July 29 at Kimball Union Academy in Meriden.
New Hampshire stretched its winning streak to nine games by posting a 40-6 victory over Vermont last summer. New Hampshire leads the all-time series 41-13-2.
