Winnacunnet High School's Harry Knowles and Jesse Gould will both play football for Bridgton Academy next season, according to Winnacunnet coach Ron Auffant.

Knowles and Gould each played wide receiver and defensive back for the 2009 Winnacunnet team that lost to Bishop Guertin in the Division II championship game.

"Hopefully after a year there some options will open up for them," Auffant said. "It's good football there, so they'll have to step up."

Knowles, who will represent New Hampshire when it plays Vermont in this summer's Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl, was a Division II all-state selection at wide receiver. Gould was a Division II honorable mention selection at defensive back.

Bridgton Academy is a school for postgraduates located in North Bridgton, Maine.
