Spaulding, Keays part ways

Jim Keays has left the program after five seasons, The Red Raiders had an 11-52 record during his five-year tenure.

Spaulding's best season under Keays came in 2006, when the Red Raiders qualified for the Division II tournament as the No. 4 seed. Exeter beat Spaulding in the Division II semfinals that year. The Red Raiders completed that season with a 6-5 record.

Spaulding, which went 0-11 in 2009, has won two games since that playoff season..

Before he was hired by Spaulding, Keays was Somersworth's head coach for 13 seasons. He guided the Hilltoppers to five state championships.
