Pinkerton Academy's Chris Trieb and Ben Proulx have both given verbal commitments to Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Conn.

Proulx is a 6-foot-5, 221-pound tight end/defensive lineman who was a First Team All-State selection on defense last fall. Trieb, a 6-foot-5, 305-pound offensive lineman, was a Second Team All-State selection.

Sacred Heart is a Division I program that competes in the Northeast Conference.
