UConn gets a lift from Nashua's Reyes

Reyes.jpgDefensive tackle Kendall Reyes (pictured), who played high school football at Nashua North, made three tackles and recorded a sack for a loss of 6 yards to help UConn defeat South Carolina, 20-7, in Saturday's Papajohns.com Bowl.

Reyes, a sophomore, made 34 tackles (13 solo) and had two sacks during the regular season. He played in 11 games (four starts) as a freshman.

UConn completed its season with an 8-5 record.
