Plymouth State places 21 on All-Academic team
The New England Football Conference Academic All-Conference team for 2009 has been announced, and the list includes 21 student-athletes from the Plymouth State University football team.
To qualify for the All-Academic team, a student-athlete must have completed three semesters at an institution and maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.0. The All-Academic team is released following the most recent semester, which included the football season.
Nine of the Panthers named for 2009 are repeat selections, and two, seniors Matt Vahey (Fremont, N.H./Pinkerton) and Mike Vahey (Fremont, N.H./Pinkerton), are three-time honorees.
