Pinkerton's Trieb weighing options

Pinkerton logo.pngC.J. Trieb, a 6-foot-5, 305-pound offensive lineman from Pinkerton Academy in Derry, has scheduled an official visit with Sacred Heart University on Jan. 23, accoring to his father Dave. Trieb will also visit Wagner on Jan. 18 and Merrimack College on Jan. 29.

Wagner and Sacred Heart are both Division I schools that compete in the Northeast Conference. Merrimack is a Division II program that is a member of the Northeast-10.

Trieb, who lives in Chester, has also been offered a scholarship by ASA Junior College in the Bronx, has visited Milford (N.Y.) Academy and has been contacted by Fork Union (Va.) Military Academy.

Trieb, who also played defensive tackle and noseguard for the Astros, was named to the Division I All-State Second Team as an offensive lineman following the 2009 season.
