According to Rivals.com, Malcolm Griggs, a 6-foot-2, 183-pound quarterback/defensive back from Piscataway High School in New Jersey, gave a verbal committment to the University of New Hampshire on Sunday.

Griggs, who also played wide receiver in high school, visited UNH last weekend.

Griggs received offers from Cincinnati and Akron following his junior year, when he passed for 1,342 yards and 19 touchdowns.

Ohio State, Boston College and Maryland reportedly showed some interest in Griggs as a defensive back. His brother J.D. is a tight end at Iowa.
