Villanova will be without offensive lineman Chidozie Ekweozor (pictured) for Saturday's NCAA playoff game against the University of New Hampshire.
Ekweozor, the team's starting right tackle, suffered a season-ending knee injury in Villanova's 38-28 triumph over Holy Cross last Saturday.
"He tore his ACL," Villanova coach Andy Talley said. "He's finished for the year, and that's a big blow to us. We're gonna have to figure it out."
Talley said he may take the redshirt off freshman Josh Bucci. Another option is moving right guard Jonathan Bugli to right tackle and inserting freshman Dan Shirley at right guard.
"We may have to bring a freshman out of redshirt, which I don't want to do," Talley said.
UNH, which advanced with a 49-13 victory over McNeese State, beat Villanova 28-24 in Durham earlier this season.
Saturday's game is scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m. and can be seen on ESPN Gameplan and ESPN 360.com.
