Jesse Green, a captain on this year's Winnacunnet High School football team, recently accepted an appointment to the Massachusetts Maritime Academy 2010 fall term. He will play football for the Division III Buccaneers, who compete in the New England Football Conference.
 
Green was named to this year's Division II All-State First Team as a defensive tackle, after receiving Honorable Mention as an offensive lineman as a junior. He was a two-way starter for the Warriors at guard and defensive tackle as a junior and senior. Green earned his first varsity letter as a sophomore.
