Alvirne ended a three-game losing streak by posting a 32-7 triumph over Timberlane on Friday night. The victory earned Alvirne the No. 4 seed for the Division II playoffs.

Alvirne (4-4 in Division II) will face the winner of Saturday night's Bishop Guertin/Exeter game. The Cardinals and Blue Hawks are both 7-0 within the division.

Winnacunnet, which raised its record to 5-3 by beating Spaulding 53-13 on Friday, will be the No. 3 seed and face the BG/Exeter loser in the Division II semifinals.

Timberlane also finished 4-4 within the division, but was eliminated from playoff contention because of its loss to Alvirne.
