  • Noteworthy: Sophomore quarterback Conner Kempe made his first start of 2009 and turned in solid numbers in a 34-14 loss at Holy Cross last week as Dartmouth suffered its 17th straight loss. Kempe, starting in place of injured Alex Jenny, had 312 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the loss. ... Three of Dartmouth's first five opponents are currently ranked in the FCS Top 25. ... Dartmouth got a boost to its receiving corps with the return of sophomore WR Michael Reilly, who missed two games with an ankle injury. Reilly had four catches for 67 yards against Holy Cross. Junior WR Tanner Scott had seven catches for 126 yards and a TD last week. ... Dartmouth sophomore Nick Schwieger is the Ivy League's second-leading rusher with 366 yards. Columbia's Ray Rangel tops the list with 420 yards. ... Columbia has the second-highest scoring average in the Ivy League (25.0 ppg) and is third in scoring defense (20.2). Dartmouth is seventh in scoring offense (14.2) and last in scoring defense (36.0). ... Columbia's Austin Knowlin needs 135 receiving yards to become the school's all-time leader. He already owns the school mark for career receptions and is 13th on the Ivy League list for career all-purpose yards (3,930). ... Jenny, a senior QB who suffered a dislocated elbow against Yale on Oct. 10, won't return this season. ... Dartmouth hasn't held an opponent to under 30 points this season ....
