Morgan added to Shrine roster
Con-Val running back Justin Morgan will be among those in uniform when the New Hampshire team for this year's Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl begins practicing at Kimball Union Academy today.
New Hampshire coach Greg Husband announced that Morgan, who rushed for more than 2,000 yards and scored 25 touchdowns during his high school career. will replace Pelham's Bruce Vieira.
Morgan will play for Plymouth State University this fall.
New Hampshire will be trying to extend its eight-game winning streak in this year's game, which will be played Aug. 1 at Windsor (Vt.) High School's Macleay-Royce Field. Each team will hold an intra-squad scrimmage on July 25. Both scrimmages are open to the public.
New Hampshire won last year's game, 42-0, and has a 40-13-2 edge in the series.
