Wolves will hold tryout Saturday

Manchester Wolves.gifThe Manchester Wolves, who compete in arenafootballleague2, will hold their final open tryout for players this season Saturday.

Manchester head coach Danton Barto and his staff will evaluate players at the team's official practice facility, the Hampshire Dome, in Milford. The pre-registration fee is $50 per player, or $60 on the day of the tryout.

All players are required to be at least 18 and must bring identification, along with t-shirt, shorts, and athletic shoes (cleats are suggested). Registration is at 8 a.m. and the tryouts begin at 9 a.m., when players will be evaluated in the 40-yard dash, short shuttle, broad jump, and position-specific drills. A session for kickers will begin at 11 a.m.

The Wolves open training camp on March 7 and their first game of the regular season will be played on March 27 at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
