Philistin won't attend NFL combine

University of Maryland linebacker Dave Philistin was not invited to this year's NFL Combine.
Philistin, a 6-foot-2, 231-pound Manchester resident who played high school footblal at Manchester Central, was projected to be a late-round selection in this year's NFL draft by several draft services. Philistin played both weakside linebacker and middle linebacker at Maryland, where he finished his career with 247 tackles and one interception.
Central was 47-3 and won four Division I championships during Philistin's high school career.
