Concord High School's Kyle Starr is headed to Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, to play both football and lacrosse, according to a story in Thursday's Concord Monitor.

Starr scored 12 touchdowns for the Crimson Tide last fall -- six rushing and six receiving -- and was a Division I Second Team All-State selection as a wide receiver.

Starr plays midfield in lacrosse, and received First Team All-State honors following his junior season

He'll be joining a Bates football team that has five other New Hampshire residents on its roster: Brett McAllister (Exeter), Kyle McAllister (Exeter), Ted Durkin (Rye Beach), Tyler Kuehl (Plymouth) and Zach Lynch (Plymouth).
