Chris Beranger, a 6-foot, 185-pound running back/defensive back from Winthrop (Mass.) High School, has given a verbal commitment to the University of New Hampshire.

According to a story in Monday's Manchester Union Leader, Beranger (pictured) accepted UNH's scholarship offer on Saturday.

Beranger scored 25 touchdowns during his senior season.
