Colbert headed to UNH

UNH logo.jpgAccording to caainsider.com., Jay Colbert, a 6-foot-1, 223-pound defensive end from Neshaminy High School in Langhorne, Pa., has given a verbal commitment to the University of New Hampshire.

Colbert held offers from at least two other schools: Buffalo and Maine.

Colbert is the fifth player to give a verbal commitment to UNH. The others are defensive end Cody Muller (Souderton, Pa./Souderton Area), offensive lineman Seamus O'Neill (Manchester/Manchester Central), tight end/wide receiver/linebacker Kevin Ganglehoff (Meriden/Kimball Union Academy) and running back Chris Beranger (Winthrop, Mass./Winthrop).

National Signing Day is Feb. 4.
