The announcement was made Thursday at the Joe Yukica Huddle in Manchester.

Franklin finished 11-1 this season and beat Campbell, 8-0, in the Division VI championship game. The team's only loss came in a non-league game against Division V Bishop Brady.

Springfield's Mike Hatt will coach Vermont in next year's game, which will be played Aug. 1 at Windsor (Vt.) High School. Each team will report to Kimball Union Academy in Meriden for training camp on July 24.

Hatt directed Springfield to an 11-0 record and the Division III championship this season.
