UNH has no scheduling problems
In Thursday's Portsmouth Herald, Mike Zhe writes that the University of New Hampshire has a friendlier schedule this season than it did a year ago. UNH went 1-2 against teams from the Colonial Athletic Association's South Division last season (Delaware, Richmond and James Madison). Villanova, Towson and William & Mary are the South Division teams UNH will face this fall.
Also, for those interested in high school football, USA Today published its preseason Super 25 rankings Thursday. Byrnes High School in Duncan, S.C., tops the list.
Bonny Eagle High School from Standish, Maine, came in at No. 5 in the East Region rankings. Everett, Mass., is the only other New England team ranked in the East Region (No. 8).
