Exeter's Peeke will lead Bates defense
The Bates College football team will have a strong New Hampshire flavor on the defensive side of the ball this season.
Senior Coleman Peeke (pictured), who played at Exeter High School, has been moved from outside linebacker to inside linebacker this season. He'll also serve as a team captain.
Sophomore Ted Durkin (Rye Beach) will join Peeke at inside linebacker, and junior Kyle McAllister, another former Exeter High School standout, will anchor the secondary.
Defensive lineman Tyler Kuehl (Plymouth), defensive back Brett McAllister (Exeter), running back Jason Joseph (Merrimack) and defensive lineman Zach Lynch (Plymouth) are the other New Hampshire residents on the Bates roster.
