Philistin may be in draft mix
University of Maryland linebacker Dave Philistin (pictured) is being projected as a possible late-round pick in the 2009 NFL draft. Philistin, who played at Manchester Central, will be entering his senior season at Maryland.
Philistin, a three-year starter at Central, recorded 108 tackles in his senior season. He also rushed for 1,002 yards and scored 13 touchdowns.
