Santos playing waiting game
Former University of New Hampshire quarterback Ricky Santos was not among the names listed when the Montreal Alouettes announced their official 46-man roster last weekend. Santos was not among the final cuts, either.
Montreal, which will open the regular season Thursday in Hamilton, placed Santos on the nine-week injury list, but did not disclose his injury.
Santos completed 14 of 16 passes for 120 yards during an exhibition game against Toronto. It was his only appearance with the Alouettes.
