NCAA plans to expand FCS playoffs
It appears the NCAA will expand the Football Championship Subdivision playoffs from 16 to 20 teams beginning with the 2010 season. One proposal would award an automatic bid to each of the 10 conference champions, and complete the field with 10 at-large berths.
